The story
Found wandering the streets of Los Angeles with no memory, no emotions and scars across his head, a man takes the name Saint Mercy. Haunted by Sister Teresa, a wickedly witty vision from a past he cannot remember, he becomes an accidental vigilante, guided less by justice than by divine compulsion and the voice in his head.
In a world where pain cannot touch him, only Teresa keeps him tethered to life, forcing him to eat, heal and survive. Mercy crosses paths with Dr. Bri, the compassionate yet sharp-tongued physician assistant who patches him up after every brutal fight, and Officer Wallace, a determined cop obsessed with uncovering his identity.
As Mercy’s violent brand of salvation leaves a trail, a past tied to cartel contracts, buried black-ops work and a church that is not as holy as it preaches begins to catch up. When a fiery crash forces him to save Dr. Bri, the legend of the invulnerable homeless angel is born. But is he an avenging angel, or another sinner in disguise?
