Who we are

This privacy notice applies to madicus.com and explains how information submitted through this website is handled.

J. T. Madicus and Madicus Productions are responsible for the personal information processed through this website. This site is intended to present creative work, productions and professional activities, and to make business and media inquiries possible.

Information you provide

When you use the inquiry form, we collect your name, email address, selected topic, message and the time of submission. We use this information to review your inquiry and reply to you.

Inquiry records are stored privately in this WordPress installation and are available only to authorized administrators. A copy may also be delivered to the designated J. T. Madicus representatives by email.

Why we use your information

We use inquiry information to respond to your request, discuss possible collaborations, maintain relevant business correspondence, protect the website and establish or defend legal claims where necessary. Depending on the circumstances, processing is based on your request, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website, or a legal obligation.

Technical data and spam protection

The hosting service may process standard server logs, including IP address, browser information, requested pages and timestamps, to operate and protect the website. The inquiry form creates a one-way hash of the submitting IP address and uses a short-lived rate limit to reduce spam.

Embedded media and external links

Vimeo video content loads only after you choose to play it. Vimeo may then receive technical information and use its own cookies under its privacy policy. Links to other websites are governed by the privacy terms of those websites.

Who may receive information

Information may be processed by trusted service providers supporting website hosting, security and email delivery, and by professional advisers when required. We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process data in the United States or another country; where applicable, appropriate legal safeguards are used for international transfers.

Retention and your choices

We keep inquiry data only for as long as it is needed for correspondence, legitimate business records and applicable legal obligations. Ordinary inquiries are reviewed for deletion when they are no longer needed, generally within 24 months after the last meaningful contact unless a longer period is justified.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to receive a portable copy of information you provided. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority. California residents may request information about collected categories and deletion or correction of eligible personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Children and changes to this notice

This website is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information through the inquiry form. We may update this notice when the website or applicable requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.
